How to take care of your weight at home?

I always gain weight after some time if I don’t do anything to get rid of it; that is why I try to learn some hacks that I diligently follow to stay on track. Most people like me storing on kilos with lockdown because they cannot step out. But the good news is that I have lost 1.5 kilos after lockdown, and here I have mentioned the things I have done, and you can too if you want to lose weight.

Filled three water bottles in the morning
I drink one liter of water when I wake up; alongside, I fill three bottles for the whole day and put them next to where I sit to work on a laptop with a glass. Then, in one bottle, I added some lime and mint or some salt to it. And by 7 pm, I finish it all.

Skipped breakfast
Most people will get irritated with this advice, but it has worked great to lose weight. I followed the intermittent fasting of 16 hours and skipped my breakfast. When I feel starving, I have a cup of black coffee (without sugar), which is enough to curb my hunger. It may feel challenging in the first week, but you will soon be habitual and won’t miss your breakfast anymore.

500 jumps through the day/200 stairs
Since we cannot work out during lockdown, I make sure that this is the minimum I do every day. It is unnecessary to do it all together (if you can, great!), but you can scatter it through the day.

Made a diet/fitness plan
Primarily you have heard about it before, but it is the most legit and vital step to keep fit. I wrote everything that I eat, whatever I drink, and the workout level. Trust me, looking at it before going to bed will make you want to do better the next day.

Surround me with the healthy indulgences
During the lockdown, people primarily try to fine cuisine during the lockdown; others struggle with their daily meals. Many are skipping meals and resorting to unhealthy snacks. I avoid picking unhealthy foods like chips, store healthy snacks like peanuts, makhana, and cheese slices to banish untimely cravings. Also, I kept a bottle of lemon juice chaach in my refrigerator, which helped me reach out to them instead of colas.

Walk while I do call with my friend
I know that we all do household chores; this simple habit will also help break down the day’s calories. But with that also walk when I talk to someone, instead of sitting at a place. It is getting tough for me to get to 10,000 steps, but doing this will take me closer to my target.

Sleeps in a dark room
Yes, sleep is essential to losing weight. So it is used to make sure that the room is dark and well cold to help you get a good sleep. Because Lack of sleep also affects weight gain and restlessness throughout the day.
