So, I assume you are already trying hard to use an attractive thumbnail to create compelling YouTube videos and get more CTR from related and embedded videos.

In the above image, you can see that the my search keyword matches the video’s description, which is in the first two lines. Using the longtail keyword as your video description will also significantly increase your video’s ranking.

Naming Your Video File
You have created and edited your video, and it is ready to be uploaded to YouTube, but you have submitted your video file as mov001.avi or random_name.mp4, make sure you have renamed your video to your_keyword. mp4 is done.
Designating your video file as your focused keyword tells search engines what’s in your video search engines can’t see inside the video content. The file name tells the search algorithm what your video is.
Having a video title as your video file name helps search engines index videos more easily, which helps achieve higher rankings. So put your target keyword in the video file name.

You can also write a closed caption if your video doesn’t have sound.

List specific tags first: Type your main keyword first. Doing so will add weight to the algorithm.
List Common Tags: Type common and matching keywords. For example, if your main keyword is “Keyword Research”, common tags could be “Blogging Tips”, “WordPress Help”, etc.
